Louise first played the part of Leela, Warrior of the Sevateem in "The Face of Evil" (1977) and went on to become a travelling companion to the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) starring in two series of the show.
Now, in the 21st century, Louise continues to play Leela in the Big Finish audio productions, with the latest drama, "The Time Vampire", now available to buy online. 2012 sees the release of a series of Doctor Who audio dramas starring Louise and Tom Baker. 2013 sees the 50th anniversary of the show, stay tuned to see what plans are afoot...
"To every loyal Doctor Who fan out there. I can't thank you enough for your letters and compliments and support since those heady days of Leela, Warrior of the Sevateem. That job was just 14 months of my life three decades ago, and still I am remembered for it, thanks to you.
I would urge anyone visiting this site to have a look at the News page as there are several 'spin offs' from that era that may be of interest, and also keep an eye on my Blog. I'll do my best to renew it once a month and let you know of any forthcoming events.
Aren't you all thrilled it has returned? And isn't it fabulous? Did you enjoy the new series with Matt and Karen in action?
Here's to ... or to whatever year your imagination may care to take you. May you be blessed with everything you need and most of what you wish for." - Louise Jameson
